Primary focus: Database Manager & Technical Support for Accounting Department.

Responsibilities: Daily support of business process requirements and report creation, using Crystal Reports, MS Access, and Excel.  Modification of Dynamics SL as needed to meet business requirements needs.  Migration of acquisition accounting data from legacy systems to Microsoft Dynamics SL; using Excel VBA and SQL, SSIS and Microsoft Access to move data into the Dynamics Accounting System.  AR details import required data manipulation, using Microsoft Excel which was semi-automated using VBA.  Daily Installation details and Asset Tracking were done using custom written Microsoft Access Systems, the configuration item, bill of materials and task details were exported and massaged prior to import into Microsoft Dynamics SL
The payroll system was custom written and was not designed to store historical details, this necessitated revision when pay rates, pay schedules, or tax rates changed.  During SOX Compliance audits and Litigation audits in order to pull older data I had to re-engineer the payroll system calculations to match the payroll rules during that time period.
